Taylor Lake

This beautiful lake in Madill offers a perfect setting for a lunch by the lake with spaces shadowed by the shade trees overhead.

Wacker Park

Located in Pauls Valley, Wacker Park features lush green grass sprinkled with picnic tables and benches. Or if you prefer a more aromatic picnic spot, head to the Rotary rose garden to dine among the flowers.

Lake Texoma State Park

Lake Texoma State Park in Kingston has ample opportunities for a fabulous picnic. Head to the day use area for beautiful lakeside views. Or bring a tent and set up in Ben’s Campground where you will also have access to picnic tables and grills under the towering pines. For different scenery, rent a pontoon boat for a picnic on the water.

Madill City Lake

Madill City Lake offers a quiet, serene setting for a perfect afternoon picnic. Whether you situate your blanket by the lakeside or under the covered picnic areas, your basket is sure to be lighter when you leave. The lake area also offers the chance for a round of disc golf!

Chickasaw National Recreation Area

If you are looking for a picnic with a view, look no further than the Chickasaw National Recreation Area in Sulphur. Whether you pick a spot near Travertine Creek or at the Bison Overlook. Small pets are allowed on some of the trails as long as they are a leash. Check trail information before heading out.

Turner Falls Park

A picnic under the Falls fits the bill for a picturesque dining experience. There are several spots in the Davis city park where you can drop a blanket, whether near the 77-foot waterfall, along Honey Creek or in one of the picnic areas. You never know – you may even have first-person encounters with wildlife!
