Lake Texoma Equestrian Trails at Platter Flats

For those who love horses, Lake Texoma Equestrian Trails at Platter Flats is a great place to camp. 

You can bring your horse to the Platter Flats Campground and ride it around the 40-mile trail that surrounds Lake Texoma, near Colbert, Oklahoma. You are welcome to stay at the lakefront campground, which offers over 80 campsites, including more than 50 "equestrian" sites large enough to fit a horse and travel trailer. There are 26 family campsites with electrical and water hookups, 37 horse sites with hookups, 20 horse sites without hookups and 3 equestrian tent sites without hookups.

Amenities include flush and vault toilets, showers and drinking water, boat ramp and dock and dump station on site.

The equestrian trail is clearly marked, and concrete horse trailer pads are available.
