Spring has Sprung in Chickasaw Country!

Spring is here! The promise of warmer temperatures, longer days and a little time to enjoy nice weather before that Oklahoma heat creeps up on us is here!

Chickasaw Country looks great no matter the season, but there’s just something about springtime that really makes the area shine! 

The Arbuckle Mountains start to green up, wildflowers are blooming all along the roadways, boats start hitting the lake, and festival season kicks off!

Here's a little taste of what you can expect in Chickasaw Country this spring season!

Easter Fun – Trade the barrel of fun for a basket of fun this spring! There is no shortage of Easter egg hunts in Chickasaw Country and you wouldn’t want to miss the chance to have your kiddos frolicking through that fresh spring grass!

May Daze Festival – For Blanchard, this event marks the unofficial start of summer! This is a two-day packed event with fun for the whole family, including a carnival, turtle races and the annual Diaper Derby.

Love County Frontier Days – This three-day event is right on the cusp of summer! Make your way to downtown Marietta in June every year for a Pioneer breakfast, a lively parade and carnival rides for everyone!
