Chickasaw Nation Welcome Center Featured Artist: Kelly Langley

Learn more about Chickasaw and other First American artists at the Chickasaw Nation Welcome Center in Davis, Oklahoma. 

Kelly Langley specializes in landscape photography and graphic arts. Langley said she studied photography as an undergraduate, as part of a journalism degree, before entering the field of education. Her early interest in photography was rekindled while living in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah and exploring the wonders of the National Parks.

Although she began her photographic journey with black-and-white film and darkroom processing, her transition to digital photography has expanded her creative possibilities.

Though many of her images are reminiscent of her rural Oklahoma background, her portfolio reflects a wide range of subjects, fostered by her keen interest in the world around us and her love of travel.
