Chickasaw Nation Welcome Center Featured Artist: Brian Landreth

Learn more about Chickasaw and other First American artists at the Chickasaw Nation Welcome Center in Davis, Oklahoma. 

Chickasaw artist Brian Landreth specializes in pencil, color pencil, ink, charcoal, watercolor, acrylic and digital art. He takes his inspiration from pop art and cartoons. Landreth works as a graphic designer while continuing to make art in his spare time. He works in several art mediums, choosing one based on the piece's theme. He describes his pop and comic art as “a transfer of ideas he has had through the years, changed by an indigenous lens.” He hopes his fine art “appeals to a multicultural audience while being something that the Native American community can connect to.”

The exhibit is free and open to the public.
