2026 Independence Day Celebrations across Chickasaw Country
Chickasaw Country, Okla. - As America marks its 250th birthday, towns throughout Chickasaw Country will celebrate with events ranging from parades and 5K runs to festivals and fireworks. Festivities around the region begin as early as June 20 and extend through July 4.
Tuttle, Oklahoma –
Kick off the holiday celebrations at Coal Creek Vineyard and Winery in Tuttle at the Summer Independence Kickoff Saturday, June 20. This day of family fun will include vendors, food trucks, a car show, a kids zone and live music. The city of Tuttle will end the evening with a spectacular fireworks display at dusk.
Purcell, Oklahoma –
Friday, June 26, Purcell will celebrate Independence Day at Purcell Lake. The celebration begins at 5 p.m. with food trucks, games and fireworks, followed by the fireworks display at 9:45 p.m.
Lindsay, Oklahoma –
Bring your lawn chairs to Glenn Curlee Park in Lindsay Saturday, June 27, for a day of fun in the sun. Free swimming is available all day with live music and a fireworks show at dusk.
Comanche, Oklahoma –
Celebrate the holiday at the Comanche Independence Fest Celebration at Comanche Lake from 3 to 10 p.m., Saturday, June 27. Enjoy food vendors, live music and fireworks launching over the lake at dusk.
Washington, Oklahoma –
Join the fun as the Washington Fire Department presents Freedom Weekend Saturday, June 27, beginning at 4:30 p.m. with a car show. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
Newcastle, Oklahoma –
Join the fun in Newcastle at the Red, White & Blue Fest in Veterans Park Saturday, June 27. Festivities begin at 5 p.m. with family fun, food trucks, live entertainment, inflatables, games and an unforgettable fireworks show at 9:45 p.m.
Tishomingo, Oklahoma –
The entire family will enjoy Johnston County’s Red, White and BOOM Celebration in Tishomingo. Saturday, June 27, the festivities begin at 6 p.m. with the annual parade along Main Street to Pennington Creek Park. The Red, White and BOOM Car Show will immediately follow the parade in the park. Additional activities include a volleyball tournament, a family fun zone, a cornhole tournament, a foam party and live entertainment all day with a special performance by Pace Road Band following the fireworks. Guests can enjoy the fireworks show at the Johnston County Fair Barn at dusk Saturday evening.
Waurika, Oklahoma –
The City of Waurika will host its annual 4th of July celebration Saturday, June 27. The family-friendly event begins at 6 p.m. with live music, food, bounce houses, vendors and fireworks at dark.
Davis, Oklahoma –
Enjoy live entertainment and grab a bite from the food trucks at Red, White & Davis Saturday, June 27. Celebrate Independence Day at Fullerton Park beginning at 6:30 p.m. with free fun and entertainment for all ages, including a fireworks show at dark.
Sulphur, Oklahoma –
Bring the entire family to Sulphur for Arbuckle Beats and Bites at The Artesian Hotel, Casino and Spa Thursday, July 2. Doors open at 5 p.m. Grab a bite at one of the food trucks and hear live music from Stoney LaRue, followed by fireworks at 9 p.m. Admission is free to Arbuckle Beats & Bites.
Duncan, Oklahoma –
Celebrate 250 years of America Friday, July 3, 2026, in Duncan. Hosted by the Stephens County Historical Museum in Fuqua Park, the all-day celebration will feature live music, food trucks, games and a fun run! Then, bring the family to Abe Raizen Park for the Red, White and Boom Fireworks Show. Expect local food trucks, music, bounce houses and fireworks from 5 to 10 p.m.
Pocasset, Oklahoma –
Join SaltCreek Casino Friday, July 3, from 5 to 10 p.m. for the 9th annual free, family-friendly Fireworks Spectacular. Enjoy food trucks, retail vendors and more, followed by fireworks at night's end.
Blanchard, Oklahoma–
Spend the evening of Friday, July 3, at Blanchard’s Independence Celebration featuring a kid zone, food and live music from Superfreak and the Oklahoma City Symphonic Band. The events begin at 6 p.m. and the fireworks display will be at dusk. Celebrate America’s 250th with a special drone show!
Kingston, Oklahoma –
Experience a fun-filled evening at the Lake Texoma “Shake the Lake” Fireworks Show at Lake Texoma State Park Friday, July 3. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. with food trucks, festivities for the kids and a brilliant fireworks display over the lake right after dark.
Ada, Oklahoma –
The town of Ada will celebrate the holiday with a 5K run and fireworks. Saturday, July 4, the day will kick off with the Fireball Classic Memorial Run in Wintersmith Park. This annual race features a fun run, 5K, 10K and a kids' race. Enjoy festivities throughout the day in the park, including train and carousel rides, concessions and food trucks. Live music will be provided by PARD and East Central University Community Band at 6:30 and 8 p.m., with a fireworks finale at dusk.
Ardmore, Oklahoma –
The 2026 Red, White, & BOOM 4th of July Fireworks Show at Lake Murray State Park will launch Friday, July 4, at dusk. Free parking is available at the R.C. Flying Field launch site. The event is free and open to the public.
Marlow, Oklahoma –
Marlow’s Fourth of July Celebration has been a tradition since 1892. Saturday, July 4, start the day with an old-fashioned, small-town parade with classic cars, bicycles, bands, horses and horse-drawn wagons at 9 a.m. Then head to Redbud Park, where there will be food, games, bingo and a free splash pad all day. The evening will end with fireworks at 9:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Pauls Valley, Oklahoma –
Family fun awaits at Boom in the Valley, Saturday, July 4, at Wacker Park in Pauls Valley. From 6 to 10 p.m., celebrate with a kid zone, face painting, mechanical bull rides, a glow party by Oz Productions, live music by Ray and the Highrollers and fireworks at dusk.
Kingston, Oklahoma –
Celebrate Independence Day Saturday, July 4, in Kingston at the Patriotic Parade & Watermelon in the Park. Gather on Main Street at 10 a.m. to be a part of the festivities.

Celebrate freedom with the City of Madill’s 4th of July Parade Saturday, July 4, from 12 to 2 p.m. as it rolls through downtown.
Chickasha, Oklahoma –
Celebrate the Festival of Freedom at Shannon Springs Park in Chickasha Saturday, July 4, from 6 to 10 p.m. Beginning at 6 p.m., watch the Parade of Stars and Handlebars, which will end at the entrance to the park. The parade features a procession of bikes, scooters, golf carts and ATVs led by circus performers. After the parade, listen while the DJ brings the beats and grab a spot to watch Chickasha’s largest ever fireworks show at dark!
