Scissortail Creative Writing Festival

Travel to East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma for the Scissortail Creative Writing Festival. For more than a decade, this festival has brought together writers, academics and the general public for multiple days of readings that will engage and inspire your creative side. This year, a trio of celebrated authors Steve Yarbrough, Quraysh Ali Lansana and Kai Coggin highlight the three-day festival with over 70 authors from Oklahoma and beyond.
