President's Day Blue River Trout Derby

Celebrate President's Day with a fun-filled day of trout fishing at the annual President's Day Blue River Trout Derby! The trout derby will be located at the Blue River Public Fishing and Hunting Area, about 11 miles northeast of Tishomingo, Oklahoma. This clear, spring-fed river will be stocked to the brim with trout for the derby. Over $1000 in trophies and door prizes will be given away including awards for heavy stringer and heaviest trout. Attendance for spectators is free; however, there is a small entry fee for derby participants. All age groups are welcome to participate.
