Newcastle Youth Fishing Derby

Join us bright and early at Veterans Park pond on June 7th for our Youth Fishing Derby — where the worms are wiggly, the prizes are plentiful, and the memories are waiting to be made!

Registration begins at 7:00 am and fishing starts at 7:30 am. Participants can skip the registration line by pre-registering online. Award categories include a 1st & 2nd place Biggest Fish prize for participants ages 6 & under, ages 7–10, and ages 11–15. There will also be prizes awarded for longest fish and best dressed angler!

Bring your tackle box, your best outfit, and your early-morning energy — we’ll bring the fun (and maybe a few fish stories)
