Celebrate National Park Week at the Chickasaw National Recreation Area in Sulphur, Oklahoma! The Chickasaw National Recreation Area has partnered with the Chickasaw Cultural Center for a week full of special events!

April 20th

10:00 a.m. - Snakes: A ranger program in the Travertine Nature Center.
2:00 p.m. - Nature Hike to Antelope Springs

2:00 p.m. - Nature Hike to Antelope Springs

April 22nd

10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. - Chickasaw Cultural Center presenters Steven Looney and Ed Brown will lead pashofa demonstrations at the Travertine Nature Center.
2:00 p.m. - Nature Hike to Antelope Springs

April 23rd

10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. - Chickasaw Cultural Center presenter Blake Nucosee will demonstrate drum-making at the Travertine Nature Center.

April 24th

10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. - Chickasaw Cultural Center presenter Dixie Brewer will lead a pottery demonstration at the Travertine Nature Center.

April 27th

10:00 a.m. - Meet at Veterans Lake Dam for a 1 hour Wildflower Walk (1/2 mile), led by park volunteer Ron Parker, to the Chickasaw Cultural Center gardens, where Chickasaw Cultural Center Ecological Resource Coordinator Rhonda Sellers will lead a 30 minute garden tour.
