Lucas Oil Live Presents The O'Jays and Morris Day & The Time
Event Information
Don’t miss your chance to see soul and R&B legends, The O’Jays and Morris Day & The Time, as WinStar hosts an evening of soul icons.
Formed in the summer of 1958, The O’Jays began their ascent in the soul charts shortly after releasing their hit song “Lonely Drifter.” Throughout the 1960s and ’70s, this iconic trio turned the industry on its head with hits like “Love Train,” “For the Love of Money,” and “Use ta Be My Girl.” With numerous RIAA Gold and Platinum Awards, the group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005.
Morris Day broke out of the Minneapolis music scene in the early 1980s as the lead singer of The Time. Singles like “Fishnet,” “The Bird,” and “777-9311” helped launch him to superstardom. In addition to his vocal talents, Day has appeared alongside Prince in “Purple Rain” and Richard Pryor in “Moving.”
On March 20, both of these legendary R&B and soul acts will take the stage right here at Lucas Oil Live. We invite you to experience an evening of unparalleled performances in our 6,500-seat, state-of-the-art auditorium.
