First Day Hike at Lake Murray State Park

Dust off your hiking boots and kick start the New Year with a lovely guided nature hike at Lake Murray State Park in Ardmore! 

This nationwide event encourages people from all over the country to gather together at select state parks for a New Year's Day Hike. The hike will be 1.6 miles of moderate difficulty on the Anadarche Creek/Lake Shore Loop Trail. Meet at Pecan Grove by 1 p.m. to begin the hike. 

Be sure to bring your binoculars, a camera, water and appropriate dress for a cool-weather hike.
