Designed by Nature
Whether it’s a pair of deer in the woods of Oklahoma, or the delicate points of a snowflake in Wisconsin, Maud photographer Sarah Rodefeld is patient and steady as she aims her lens. Her finished work is proof of her patience.
“Designed by Nature,” featuring the wildlife and landscape photography of Sarah Rodefeld of Maud, OK, will exhibit Oct. 1 – Jan. 6, 2020, at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center in Duncan, OK.
An avid outdoors person, Rodefeld captures the minute details of life often missed by most people. Macro photography is one of her specialties.
“I’m just a country girl who grew up surrounded by trees,” said Rodefeld, who was born in the forests of northern Wisconsin. “When I married my husband 27 years ago, I told him I’d follow him anywhere but Kansas or Oklahoma. Lucky for me, we moved to this great state 26 years ago and it’s been an amazing ride!”
Oklahoma’s natural beauty and landscapes inspired her from day one – from the amazing sunsets to the incredible diversity and abundance of wildlife.
