A small town with a large history
Check out Wilson, OK. Founded in November 1998, the Wilson Historical Society is a group of townspeople that have gathered monthly to gather and preserve the vibrant history of Wilson.
At the meeting, the Society President and the other society members greeted me with open arms.
Then there's the Wilson Historical Museum. The museum was opened in 2001 and ever since then has continued growing. From old graduation diplomas to memorabilia donated by townspeople, this museum will have you wandering for hours!
Also inside this museum are the town's archives, which house everything from old yearbooks to individual family history.
